Our Story

As a furkid mom, I was frustrated to find mostly sub-quality pet toys in the market. These toys were made with unspecified materials like recycled wastes, plastics, or synthetic fibers and manufactured outside of the US without regulations on using dyes, bleach, and chemicals. There is no way, we would give such toys to our human children so why was it OK to give it to our furkids? Some toys even had pungent plastic and chemical smell, and some rope toys had dyes that easily rubbed off on the carpet. It made me shudder to think of our furkids chewing and playing with these rope toys.

So, I embarked upon the idea to make the highest quality pet toys - made in the US with only 100% natural US-grown cotton fibers, and handcrafted with love, care, & pride.  

Ropey Rope toys are made with the finest cotton yarn - certified by the Seal of Cotton for its' authentic and iconic fiber content and are natural, renewal, and environmentally-friendly. Even chefs use this yarn as twine in their cooking.
